"not entitled"

Lockhart, TX. On her first day of high school, a young girl was placed in “Interpersonal Studies” instead of the art class she had wanted. She told her mom that she was very uncomfortable because the teacher was trying to get students to admit they were gay.   Her story traveled quickly among friends on social media. The next day, I was in the Admin office requesting to see the materials. That was two weeks ago.  After many communications, I was told by school officials that even though I was   "not entitled" to view materials since I'm not a parent of an enrolled student, that they would allow me to come in anyway. Although you are not entitled to view these materials under Chapter 26 as you are not a parent of a student in the District, we are allowing you to view the materials requested. Would you be available tomorrow afternoon between 1:30 to 4:30 or Friday morning from 8 to 11 to view the documentation at the Administration building? This afternoon, my ...
